‘After some deliberation and procrastination I’ve chosen a Mary Oliver poem, ‘When Death Comes’. Her work reminds me of a deeper and often neglected current that runs through our lives. It reminds us not forget what is really important and not to be too distracted by the day by day, by the detail, by the busyness. Someone far more wonderful lies underneath if you pause and pay attention.’
