The narrator of my story would probably get a little frustrated that the Top 100 rarely features songs by or even about pirates. She might even host a Karaoke Night featuring only songs by or about pirates in protest, and everyone who attended would have to dress up or walk the plank. (Unfortunately, always-managing-to-go-slightly-overboard was just one of those things she inevitably inherited from her dad. That, and a stripy blue-and-white shirt …)
