Crocodile Cake in Eumundi!

COURTESY OF VIKKI JARRETT

On Saturday Berkelouw Books in Eumundi hosted a fun filled day to launch best selling children's book author Palo Morgan's second book Crocodile Cake, magically illustrated by Chris Nixon.

Crocodile Cake is a colourful, fun, picture book about the kind of cake that you have to eat, before it eats you!

Children were delighted to meet the author and have Palo on hand to sign a copy of their new book. The well known Eumundi Tea Ladies read to an enthralled group of children and parents with actions and antics to accompany the fast paced story.

Crocodile craft activities were run by Petit Enfant, and had children eager to be involved, watching their masterpiece unfold! A magnificent Crocodile Cake, made by the Eumundi Food Company, had children thoroughly enjoying gobbling up the crocodile, just like in the story!

Southern Edge on Australian Poetry Review

The Australian Poetry Review has posted a review of Southern Edge by Barbara Temperton:

'Verse narrative is easy to do badly and hard to do well - stories like these have to have the right balance of mythic resonance and elliptical, hermeneutical suspense. Southern Edge adds to the small group of successful Australian works in that genre: it's a gem and a real surprise.'
