Author Lola Young is currently on a national Media tour to talk about her inspiring biography, Lola Young: Medicine Woman & Teacher. Appearing on RTR FM, SBS Radio, Radio National's "The Bush Telegraph" and even stopping by Ch 10's "9am with David & Kim" (airing this Friday morning), it's a long way from Lola's home town of Tom Price, WA! As one of Australia's last traditional medicine women, Lola's story is earning her fans right around the country.

The Kimberley Writers Festival celebrates the written and creative word in Kununurra in the East Kimberley, W.A. Each year writers, illustrators and musicians are invited to participate in the event which attracts locals, people living in outlying remote areas, and many visitors.
