Week 7: Events Manager Update

If you didn't already have enough reason to be part of the festivities at the launch of Fremantle Poetry Month, then let me give you another: Peter Barr will be joining us to MC the evening. As the Breakfast radio presenter on RTRfm, Barr is a man comfortable with a microphone. He'll be on stage to introduce you to a line-up of local talent throughout the night.

This week's giveaway goes to Colleen O'Grady, who got involved in the conversation about recent reading on the blog. Colleen enjoyed The Wild Swans at Coole by W.B. Yeats so much she took the trouble of learning one of the poems, 'An Irishman Foresees His Death'. Colleen wins a copy of Charmaine Papertalk-Green's Just Like That. Congrats!

You have until Monday 5 July to comment on this week's giveaway, and get a chance to win Wheatlands by Dorothy Hewett.

And don't forget: Thursday 8 July, 6:30pm at the Fremantle Arts Centre.

Kiri Falls, Fremantle Poetry Month Events Manager
